Bloody Explorer! Bloody quirks mode! Bloody bloody! Grr!
There, I feel a bit better. I guess it’s not really IE’s fault that it’s the only browser in which my three-column css-styled layout doesn’t work.
Actually, yes it is. It ought to work in quirks mode and doesn’t—that’s likely my fault—but I shouldn’t have to rely on quirks [...]

Is it me, or is del.icio.us very, very, very slow at the moment? I’ve been experiencing this for a few days—sometimes the server doesn’t respond at all—but I can’t find any reference to a problem at their end.
CSS ‘sliding doors’: positioning the tabs

A lot has been written on styling html lists to make them look pretty, a good example being Douglas Bowman’s ‘Sliding Doors‘ articles on alistapart.com.
However, I’ve still not managed to master it. Either I have problems with floated elements or IE doesn’t style the tabs properly (IE6, at any rate).
